Elizabeth, founder of The White Horse, LLC, has built an impressive career over the past twenty-five years, working in diverse environments that have tested and honed her professional skills. She possesses expertise in Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Civil drafting and design, as well as estimation, safety, inspections, and project management in both commercial and residential fields. Elizabeth’s career has been primarily focused within the Engineering, Gas, and Oil Industry, where she has collaborated with Project Managers, Engineers, and various project disciplines, effectively utilizing team dynamics both in the field and office settings. Her comprehensive experience has enriched her knowledge and strengthened her abilities throughout the planning, design, execution, and construction phases of projects from inception to completion. Alongside her primary career, Elizabeth has dedicated twelve years to the restaurant industry, excelling as a server and bartender while balancing her roles as a second and third job. This experience has further fueled her passion for hospitality and inspired her entrepreneurial spirit. Elizabeth’s childhood, spent in a small town in North Mississippi, and five formative years at The White Horse Inn Bed & Breakfast in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, significantly shaped her vision. Those years taught her the importance of creating welcoming environments, fostering genuine connections, and offering a sense of retreat and relaxation. It was here that her love for cultural experiences and community engagement began to flourish. Her vision for The White Horse, LLC, is deeply rooted in these early experiences. She aims to create a unique, multi-faceted space that serves as a retreat for flavor, wellness, and connection. The concept brings together gourmet tapas, a specialty coffee shop, a yoga and massage studio, and a full bar, all within one space in South Louisiana. Driven by her spiritual upbringing and her parents’ influence, Elizabeth envisions a place that respects diverse cultures and offers an environment where guests can unwind, savor, and connect meaningfully.
