Desi Allums, a visionary entrepreneur originally from Dallas, TX, and later relocating to Louisiana in 2010, is driven by an unparalleled passion for instilling unapologetic confidence in women. Beyond her roles as a wife and devoted fur baby mama, Desi faced a challenging situation last year, enduring bullying, emotional brutality, and mean-spirited behavior from several women. Despite their attempts to dim her light, Desi found strength through the unwavering support of God, her husband, family, and girlfriends, ultimately reclaiming her worth. In response to her personal journey, Desi founded EmpowerHer Life (formerly Women Empowering Women Northshore). She also is the CEO of Asher Reed Boutique and serves as the CO-CEO of The Vessel. As the CEO of EmpowerHer Life, she has created a welcoming community dedicated to providing a secure haven for women seeking self-acceptance, self-expression, and personal/professional growth. Within this inclusive space, every woman is encouraged to share her unique story and embark on a transformative journey. Desi's commitment is rooted in contributing to a global vision where each woman has the opportunity to thrive and realize her full potential through meaningful connections with like-minded women. Desi Allums not only leads in the business realm but also brings light into the world and the lives of the women she touches, inspiring positive change and empowerment.

I'm on a mission to transform the digital narrative for women and girls online, and to amplify the voices the world needs to hear. With an eye for authenticity and a heart for empowerment, my team and I specialize in crafting strategies that elevate purpose-driven creators and brands and empower them to own their online presence and find their voice. It's content with ❤️ But my mission extends beyond business. For me, it’s personal. As a mother of two young girls and someone who has struggled with the mental health impact of social media, I'm determined to combat the toxicity that taints the space. I strive to educate and inspire others to curate their digital feeds – and shift their perspectives on their own content – in order to foster a healthier online space. I truly believe a better online world starts with more authentic content.
